Join our Serve Team as we give back to our community!
We are hosting our annual Easter Hunt-a-Trunk event on Saturday, April 12th from 2:30pm-4:30pm and would love for you to serve alongside us! Check out opportunities below!
Helping in advance:
Day-Of Help:
- Work behind the scenes in our offices on a variety of projects including stuffing swag bags, counting egg and candy donations, cutting, gift wrapping, and more!
- Email Ashleigh MacGillivray if you would like to help in the office.
- Serve with us at our Egg Stuffing Party on Saturday, March 29th from 10:30am-12:30pm! We will stuff all eggs with candy that day.
- If you would like to help set up for this event from 9:00am-10:30am, please email Ashleigh MacGillivray.
Day-Of Help:
- Parking Team
- Help us block off our parking lot with cones so that the lot is ready for trunks and vendors
- Direct traffic to appropriate parking locations during the event
- Oversee reserved spots for special vendors
- Set-Up Team
- Arrive at 12:30pm and enjoy a Chick-Fil-A lunch while working on various projects like setting up tables, distributing crayons, setting out snacks, and more.
- Decorate a trunk
- Use your creativity to turn your trunk into a fun Easter display! Trunks do not need to be elaborate.
- You will pass out candy-filled eggs to children as they walk through our trunk line.
- Obstacle Course Supervisors
- Interact with children as they play on our inflatable obstacle course!
- You will work on a team of three telling kids when to enter the course, making sure they have taken off their shoes before entering, and watching as they come out the other side.
- Food and Drink Team
- Hand out chips and cups of water to guests, and answer questions they may have or direct them to a staff member!
- Face Painters
- Do you love art? We are in need of at least FIVE volunteer face painters to put their love for art to work!
- You do not need to have prior experience in order to join our face paint team.
- All you need is creativity, an enthusiastic and calm attitude, and a smile on your face!
- All supplies will be provided to you.
- Hospitality Team
- Do you like having conversations with people? Interact with guests in our dining area outside!
- Direct guests to our blue bins to recycle eggs.
- Monitor trash bags and pull them out when they are full; replace bags as needed.
- Attendance Counter
- Do you need a job where you can sit down?
- Join Ashleigh at her trunk as our attendance counter! Use our clicker to count every guest that walks by our Cornerstone trunk.
- Egg Runner
- Distribute more bags of eggs to trunks as they start to run out.
- Take water and snacks to volunteers as needed or substitute for someone while they take a break.
- Tear Down Team
- Help us take everything down and return items to their proper places inside after the event.
