During this time of COVID-19, all Serve programs are temporarily suspended.
Pastor Sheldon recently shared:
I am struck by the stories of neighbor helping neighbor that are so frequent these days. This is unparalleled in our time. People are helping one another. They are helping neighbors buy groceries. They are helping the elderly. They are finding creative ways to care. Families are Zoom conferencing one another all over the country. People are turning to the Lord in prayer. It is a picture of what the body of Christ should be for one another. May your love for God show itself in how you love others.
While church serve opportunities are currently on hold, we encourage you to love others the best way you can. One of the biggest ways is to help "flatten the curve" by staying at home. We are saving lives by doing so. We are allowing hospitals to tend to others who are sick and not adding to the number. This is crucial in our response.
We look forward to relaunching our Serve activities at a later date!
