Serve at Eagle Lake Day Camp

July 21-25

Serve as a Host Family!

We are hosting "Mega Week" for Eagle Lake Camp 2025 which means we are hosting TWO teams of Eagle Lake counselors in order to take on 200 campers! We are looking for families, couples, or individuals that are willing to offer rest and encouragement to these counselors.

What will I have to do?

  • Provide sleeping spaces in bedrooms or finished basements (separate beds are necessary).
  • You will host two to three counselors (your choice) from Saturday, July 19th to Saturday, July 26th.
  • You will meet your counselors on Saturday, July 19th (more details shared later) and will take them home with you.
  • Provide dinner on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
    • This does not have to be an extravagant meal, nor are you required to be present. The counselors will be tired by the time they get home for dinner.
  • Provide breakfast daily before the staff arrives on site at 7:00am.
    • This can be as simple as cereal and, again, your presence is not required.
  • We need 14-15 host homes and would love for you to participate in this extremely rewarding service opportunity!

  • Check-out volunteers are needed Monday-Thursday from 3:45-4:30pm.

Medical Volunteers – want to serve the kids?
  • This will be someone that can help apply band-aids and chat with kids as they cool off from the heat.
  • This volunteer will be seated in the air conditioning in the church lobby during his/her shift.
  • Part-time shifts are available (see sign-up link for available shifts).
  • Medical volunteers will not administer medications.
  • Medical experience is preferred but not required for this role.
