Sheldon is most passionate about seeing life change in God's people.
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Sheldon MacGillivray serves as the Lead Pastor for Cornerstone. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida, and has served as an executive pastor, lead pastor, staff pastor, and church planter over the course of his ministry. At Cornerstone, Sheldon is responsible for setting the vision and goals for the church, equipping the church to accomplish those goals, and shepherding the staff, elders, and congregation toward spiritual maturity. He is most passionate about seeing life change in God's people.
Sheldon and his wife, Alissa, have three daughters and one son. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, listening to music (especially jazz), woodworking, and watching sports. His life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
