Nathan is most passionate about helping us behold wondrous things out of the Word of God, so we can know God and ourselves better.
Originally from Wellington, KS (the wheat capital of the world!), Nathan Markley serves as the Lead Pastor for Cornerstone. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis, Missouri, and has been serving in ordained pastoral ministry for about a decade. At Cornerstone, Nathan is responsible for setting the vision and goals for the church, equipping the church to accomplish those goals, and shepherding the staff, elders, and congregation toward spiritual maturity. He is most passionate about helping us behold wondrous things out of the Word of God, so we can know our Lord and ourselves better.
Nathan and his wife, Laura, have two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys playing board games, hiking, reading old fiction books and cooking with his kids. His life verse is 2 Corinthians 4:6-7: "For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
