Here's a snapshot of what this position entails:
- Responsible for first-level troubleshooting and maintenance of all facility systems including lighting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security systems, etc.
- Oversee maintenance of grounds and associated equipment and systems.
- Recruit and manage volunteers, including the mowing team.
- Select, manage, and pay vendors.
- Project manage major facility projects.
- Manage expenses to stay within budget.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Understand building systems and possess the ability to do maintenance and repairs. Prior facility management experience is preferred.
- Be highly organized, observant, flexible, and possess a Swiss-Army knife mentality.
- Plan ahead, see around corners, and be proactive in the maintenance of the facility and grounds.
- Be a team player that thrives in a collaborative work environment.
- Engage fully in the life of this thriving church.
