Register your kids for Eagle Lake Day Camp at Cornerstone! Camp runs July 22-26 from 9AM to 4PM for ages 6-12. Activities include arts and crafts, games, inflatables, laser tag, tie dye, Bible study, and more!

Dates: July 22-26, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 13300 Kenneth Road, Leawood, KS 66209
Ages: 6 to 12. Older children (ages 13-17) may serve as "Crew" alongside the camp counselors.
Cost: $199 per child

We have a variety of ways for people to volunteer at Eagle Lake Day Camp! Read below for more information!

Check-in and Check-out Volunteers – want a short time commitment?

• A small-time commitment with a huge impact – you will begin the camp experience for each child!
• Check-in volunteers are needed Monday from 8:00-9:30am, Tuesday-Friday from 8:15-9:30am.
• Check-out volunteers are needed Monday from 3:30-4:30pm, Tuesday-Thursday from 3:45-4:30pm.
• Check-out volunteers are needed Friday from 3:00-4:30pm.

Medical Volunteers – looking to use your medical skills?

• This will be someone that can help care for the small scrapes and sunscreen to the eyes! Please note that you can sign up for part-time shifts if needed.
• Preferably someone who has some medical background (CNA, RN, EMT, etc.)
• Needed on-site from 8:30am to 4:00pm (part-time shifts can be accommodated; please let Ashleigh know your availability).
• Medical volunteers will not administer medications.

Lunch Preparation – want to serve during your lunch break?

• Lunch is served at noon daily.
• Time commitment can be any time between 10:30am-1:00pm.
• Help for just one day or the whole week!

Become a Host Family – want to serve our counselors? This is our biggest need!

• We are looking for families that are willing to offer rest and encouragement to the Eagle Lake staff.
• Sleeping space provided in bedrooms or finished basements only.
• You will host a minimum of three counselors from Sunday, July 21st to Sunday, July 28th.
• Dinner will need to be provided by the host family on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
• Breakfast will need to be provided daily before the staff arrives on site at 7:00am. This can be as simple as cereal.
• We need enough host families for 24 staff members (about 7-9 homes).

Counselors in Training/Relationship Builders – want to get to know our camp kids?

• Come and be a part of the fun and get to know our campers!
• Build relationships with our kids so that they have Cornerstone faces they can continue seeing after camp ends.
• Time commitment can vary for this role.
